About PauloPaulo Mattioli is a world-renowned multi-percussionist, performer, educator, and instrument designer. His life is dedicated to promoting community, unity, and wellness through the unifying rhythms of the drum. Paulo graduated with honors from the University of San Diego and holds a degree in music, communications, and visual arts. He has done groundbreaking research in the use of drumming as a communication technique within West African Cultures and has immersed himself in the rhythm of West African music.

Recording & Performing ArtistPaulo has performed with many major artists, including Sting, Lenny Kravitz, Kenny Loggins, Mickey Hart and Babatunde Olatunji. He has studied and recorded with the world’s top African Drummers from 'Les Ballets Africains,' Mamady Keita, Kemoko Sano and Yamousa Camara. He has also performed and taught with African Master Drummers: Babatunde Olatunge, Mamady Keita, Kemoko Sano, Yaya Diallo, and Dibo Camara.

First, you simply watch the rhythm being played with the Players Eye View Camera, (no transposing left hand for right!) then sing along with the rhythm as it appears on the screen just like words of a song. Finally you play along as each part is demonstrated slowly and clearly on the drum.
